Biological material as well as human body parts have been found in the wreckage of the trains that collided in Tempi, as revealed by the spokesperson of the private company conducting the relevant investigations. The investigation team reached deep inside the train carriages, which have been distorted due to the severity of the collision.
I see Molly running at the speed of light through the entire forest. 'Such a dynamic and explosive dog,' I think to myself. She reaches some dense bushes and starts digging furiously. My attention is diverted from Oscar's persistent barking next to the man pretending to be unconscious. Molly finds the skull, and Oscar stops barking only when he realizes that the others are reaching the spot where he stands. This is one of the daily training sessions of the Anubis Coldcase K9 TEAM for locating missing persons, simulating their regular investigations.
Special dogs can find human bones! We've started a collaboration! Friends, now we have the ability to search for deceased individuals who have been missing for many years. The K9 Anubis team with specially trained dogs can search for corpses and skeletal remains, giving hope to families who are in the dark.
In recent years, the support of volunteers and public civil protection organizations has been one of the central axes of NOBACCO's social responsibility actions. Expanding its initiatives – following forest protection and firefighting – into the field of research and rescue, the Greek company proceeded with the purchase and donation of research and rescue equipment to the Non-Profit Civil Company Anubis Coldcase K9 Team.

Once again, we are proud that within the framework of our annual Summer Camp held at our facilities, we were visited by and presented with the wonderful work of 'Assistance Dogs Greece' and the 'Rescue Dogs.' We are immensely grateful for their collaboration – the amazing Assistance Dogs Greece & Anubis Coldcase K9 Team. All the children and adults alike were thrilled and learned how much our beloved four-legged friends can offer to people!
The discovery of the body of the murdered Babis Koutsikos, who had been missing since January 4 in Messolonghi, by Echo, the cadaver detection dog (Belgian Shepherd) belonging to the "Anubis Coldcase K9 Team," highlighted – once again – the significant presence and contribution of the team specialized in cases of disappearances of living or deceased persons with trained canines.
As the Belgian Shepherd Dog Club of Greece, we could not refrain from publicly acknowledging Elevetion Boston aka Echo, of Greek breeding, the specially trained dog, and his trainer/handler Mr. E. Alexandris, for their tremendous success in locating the body of Mr. Koutsikos in Messolonghi.
In light of Echo's success in the task he has been trained to perform, we would like to emphasize the importance of preserving specific breed characteristics through ethical and careful breeding of purebred dogs.
